Loop Magazine
Loop Magazine is a Bay Area life style magazine. It's mission is to keep young adults informed on the greatest things happening in the Bay Area. With it's modern, sophisticated, and delightful design, Loop Magazine hopes to keep their readers visually and mentally engaged at all times.
Learning Outcomes
Developed an editorial focus, and how a story is shaped both from an editorial and visual point of view.
Solid understanding of typography and grid systems in order to use them creatively and expressively.

The Scoop
The Scoop is the front-of-book section that clearly establishes it's navigational system by it's distinctly marked "S" in the top left corner, delightful loop pattern, and a touch of pink.
Photographer Collaboration
For the product story in the Scoop, we had the wonderful opportunity of collaborating with a photographer and art directing a photoshoot. As a class, we curated products, brainstormed photo direction and a shot list.
Feature Well
The Feature Well contains two stories with text and photography provided by our instructors, but it was up to us to pick stories that best matched the voice and editorial focus of our magazine.
E-Magazine
Along with the physical magazine, is it's digital tablet component in which I showed and revealed the same information in a new interactive way.
